Cunningham Energy merges with Pettey Oilfield Services Inc. to form Drilling and Well Services Arm

Cunningham Energy an Independent Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company based in Charleston, WVa, today announced it has merged with Pettey Oilfield Services Inc. to form Cunningham Oilfield Services (COS), offering a complete package of well service solutions for Oil & Gas production companies. Services offered by the newly formed arm include full vertical and horizontal contract drilling, completion drilling, service/swabbing rig work, cement services, plugging services, well location and right of way construction, pipeline construction, and commercial trucking. Cunningham Energy Joins WVONGA Board of Directors

The West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA) has named Ryan Cunningham of Cunningham Energy to its Board of Directors. One of the oldest trade associations serving the oil and gas industry, WVONGA works to educate the public on issues related to oil and gas, and develop new avenues for natural gas usage. Cunningham Energy Announces Three New Horizontal Wells in Clay County, West Virginia

Cunningham Energy LLC has announced plans today for three new shallow horizontal oil wells to be drilled in Clay County, West Virginia. The newly planned horizontal program will be drilled from the “Rhino” pad, consisting of three wells surveyed with a specified measured depth (“MD”) of 5200 plus feet and vertical depths (“TVD”) of 2150 plus feet. All three “Rhino” horizontal wells are targeting oil in the Big Injun Sand formation in Union District of Clay County. Cunningham Energy also plans to utilize its Speedstar 185 top drive drilling rig in conjunction with these new wells. Each well bore on the Rhino Pad has been planned to be completed with multiple frac stages with varying spacing dependent on future wireline data. Continue reading
